Add your timeline

Rate your apprenticeship

You know something the next apprentice would give anything to know before they signed: how long it really took, and whether the promises were kept.

  • Four short steps, about two minutes. The timeline is the part that matters.
  • A person reads every one before it goes live. Nothing appears automatically.
  • Names stay private. Your email is never published and never goes to the employer.
  • No employer can pay to remove what you said. They can reply, once, publicly.

The next one is reading.

Who was your apprenticeship with?

Current or past, both count. Not on our list? Type the name anyway.

How this works

  • A person reads every review. Nothing appears on the site automatically. We check it reads like a real experience before it goes up, usually within a few days.
  • Your email is never published. We ask for it only so we can confirm you did the time and let you know when it's live.
  • You stay anonymous. Reviews publish without a name. Don't put your surname, anyone else's name or an exact start date in what you write — small trades are small, and that identifies people.
  • We don't take reviews down because an employer asked. We correct facts that are wrong. We don't remove an honest account someone didn't like. Our editorial policy says exactly what we will and won't publish.

What makes a review useful

Specifics. "Good employer" helps nobody; "I was on the tools from week one and my boss put me through my Level 4 without me asking" tells someone what to look for. The same goes the other way — if you spent two years sweeping floors, say so plainly.

Write about your own experience rather than what you heard. That's the part only you can give.
