Mike Greer builds a tonne of homes which means as an apprentice you get a lot of repetitions on key tasks. By year two I was fast and confident with framing, lining, and finishing. The repetition is also the downside — not much variety. But for learning the fundamentals, hard to beat.

Production line building — not much actual learning

You're a cog in a machine here. The sites are fast-paced and they don't have time to explain the why — just do this, move on. Training paperwork is handled but actual skill development depends entirely on which experienced builder you're paired with.
